(Out of Print) This publication tells the story of  18^th and 19^th century emigration from South Derry to Loretto (Cambria County) and the development of it, and other new settlements, in Western Pennsylvania. It is peppered with references to County Derry people and, in particular, people from Ballinascreen who made the voyage to the New World. Many of those with names such as O’Kane, O’Neill, Bradley, Gallagher, Moran, Murray, M’Glade, Murphy, Molloy, Flanagan, O’Hagan, Mellon, Donnelly are probably ancestors of people still living in Ballinascreen today. The book is a bound paperback (152 x 235mm) with 150 pages, including 8 in full colour and numerous photos.
